Another year, another RSD! After the overwhelming response last year, we’re gearing up for another crazy day this Saturday. We’ve already been fielding calls re: RSD titles & many of you likely have questions about what will be available etc. We cannot guarantee stock on any of the RSD titles, but we appreciate all of you who emailed & messaged us with requests – it has made our ordering process a lot more accurate. As always, the RSD exclusive list is MASSSSIVE – we still have a few days until the weekend, so we’re going to wait to tell you what we actually have. Needless to say, we’ve already received some great titles, but some of the bigger releases have still yet to show up. So we’ll update you on that later this week!

Below are a few points that hopefully answer some general questions any of you might have pertaining to RSD 2012:

• We’ll be opening at 9am (maybe earlier!) & staying open a bit later than usual

• We’ve got some live music scheduled! Leading the way there will be Kathryn Calder, plus some other guests that we’ll announce closer to Saturday ;)

• We’re going to be putting out a large selection of used records – so if you enjoy digging through the “New Arrivals” bin, RSD2012 is going to be all the more fun for you on Saturday

THE MORNING OF APRIL 21st…

By now many of you know the deal – the morning of Record Store Day can be pretty busy, so let’s review how things will go down on Saturday::

• every RSD title we receive will be in a browsable box at our counter/till area

• the lineup at the door will be honoured meaning, the person at the front of the line will get to browse the RSD titles first

• duplicate purchases will not be allowed (ie/ multiple copies of the same title)
