Justin Vernon stole everybody’s heart in 2008 with the greatest year-round winter album in a while, For Emma, Forever Ago. Blood Bank is a quickie, but a goodie, bringing 4 new, fresh ideas to the table. The title track sees Vernon spending more time in the baritone range while the auto-tuned/vocoder accapella mantra “Woods” makes Kanye & T-Pain look like, well, twits. A nice addendum to For Emma.
