This Seattle band is worthy of the hype & comparisons to early My Morning Jacket – they weave rustic Appalachian folk & country-rock with reverb-drenched vocals for a classic effect that sometimes recalls The Band. Beautiful harmonies & hooks that have you singing after only a few listens. Those who pay attention to detail will be rewarded here as well; Fleet Foxes hide a few treats in their beautiful sonic world (listen for that cute rackety mandolin-thingy on “Heard Them Stirring”).
