As their name implies, No Age are difficult to pin down. The duo have made a name for themselves due in part to their involvement with The Smell, the infamous all-ages LA art space/collective. The music on Nouns is sometimes shimmering & pretty, but usually fucking loud & pounding. The whole thing is dripping wet with 90’s indie-rock influence (um… Sonic Youth & Pavement!), but manages to sneak into its own nooks & crannies of feedback & mega-pop. A boatload of fun.
