Alex Turner (of Arctic Monkeys) & Miles Kane (of The Rascals) hook up with producer James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco) & Owen Pallet (aka Final Fantasy) for a trip through Scott Walker-ville. This is authentic 70’s cinematique, with brilliant string arrangements from Pallet & an amazing production flare from Ford. Walker, Bowie & the widescreen spy-scape stylings of David Axelrod are all over the place here (check the opening title track). Way better than Arctic Monkeys.
